The Latest...

Just to keep you up-to-date...Linda did fabulous after her in-office surgical procedure on the 23rd. The doctor actually performed two procedures - vein closure & phlebotomy. All of that on a Valium pill. She said she didn't have much pain during the procedure and as well afterward. Over the weekend, she spent time keeping her feet elevated. But by Saturday night, she was getting "stir crazy." So we took a quick trip to the store - she stayed in the truck. Anyway, it is a week later and she is back to normal. She returned to work the Tuesday after her procedure; and she has done very well. Thank you for your prayers.

Our church's Easter program is scheduled for April 7th and 8th. We are doing music and drama this time. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. I wrote the "play" and selected the music to go with it - the first time I've done that. So, I'm a little anxious about how well we will do and if it will look anything like what I'm picturing in my mind. LOL!

It's Official

Well, it is official now! I'm on staff at Oakdale Full Time now as the Church Administrator and Worship Leader. Please continue to pray that God will give me the wisdom I need to do this job. Also, pray earnestly that God will bring us 200 kids for our Summer Camp program we hold each year. We had a little over 100 register last year. We'd like to double that and reach more kids. Also, remember Linda in your prayers. She goes this Friday (03/23) for another procedure on her leg. This one is an in-office procedure that is very uncomfortable. She has to have more work on her other leg, but that will have to be done in the hospital.

Welcome to our family blog. This will be a great way for all of us to keep in touch. Of course, I'll have to show Linda how to use it...LOL!!! Linda and I are excited about what God is doing in our lives. He has provided some amazing open doors for us, and he continues to move in our lives. Pray for us as we have some important decisions coming up in the next week or so (February 26th).
